The good, the bad and the wacky

This week was wacky but so so good!

To give you an idea we were at a stoplight and I literally saw a chubby cockroach crawl on and off a man's foot (wacky) but the same bike ride home me and my companion both felt and acted on a prompting that really made our week (so good!)

2. The weather here has been WILD, like crazy half good half bad weather pictured below (wacky) on the other hand its cooling off a bit and I'm kind of digging not showing up to appointments drenched in rain, sweat or tears😆😆 (so good!)

3. Yesterday we got mad lost coming home from dropping off a note and we ended up in a crazy place that I had never been before (wacky and a little scary haha) but we ended up in a beautiful park overlooking the beautiful lake in our area and had a way cool adventure (so good!)

So Sister Suisse's newfound skill for the week is that the wacky experiences (sad, anxious, and scary included) are often mixed in with the really good ones, we just have to look for em

It's been an awesome week, and I'm so grateful for the support❤love you all!

I've got...a bag of soup...

This week was PACKED but packed with some way cool things!

Starting off with the miracles, remember how I said that we run into a lot of French people? Ran into another one and he is awesome! Talking to him and learning his story was mad cool and that's one of the awesome parts about being in the city, we get to learn from people with all different kinds of backgrounds!

Miracle TWO: when we were at our weekly service we met a way sweet girl who's our new friend:) We went to lunch with her which led to a pretty in depth conversation about how we face this crazy time we live in now. She walked with us (45 minutes) to our church and we talked about what brings us peace. SO COOL! And we learned a lot too!

We also had zone conference this week which was a blast and there we talked about focusing on our community, so you already know that's what we'll be doing for the next bit;)

This week was full of new foods, experiences and people! Gonna be real the preserved egg (皮蛋) is NOT my favorite food and rejection is still way hot, but we're growing SO much! I'm learning how to use the MRT (highspeed railway) and I'm finally starting to understand how to make my way around the city! Talking to people is coming more naturally, and my noodle cooking skills are coming in ✌nicely✌

Ending with my favorite quote from Zone conference:
"Don't you just love it when things sound impossible? Doesn't it just make you want to go and do them?"

Go challenge yourself!
Love you lots!

什麼東西

 HeLloOO

last weeks email didn't send (sorry) so I'll give a quick wrap up on that and then move on, WOO

Last week:

*There was a really special baptism this week, and it feels like the more I learn the less I really know. Those we meet up with teach us so much and we're so grateful to be a part of it!

*We had a miny Missionary Training Center and it was awesome! Got to get to know some others prepping to serve missions and it was a way cool experience:)

*Our week finished up with transfer calls! Silly Sister Suisse thought she would have her sweet companion for more than one transfer, but she was wrong! Lo and behold my comp is leaving this area and 羅姐妹 will be missed! She helped me learn to laugh when things get really tough because sometimes we just take life too seriously. Sometimes that's all we can do and I'm so excited to see what she does for 竹北 (Zhubei)😊

This week:
So every once in a while, I'm learning to take a break and just realize that things will work out. Sometimes we just have to brace ourselves in the hard times to make it to the good ones❤

With this in mind, this week was honestly pretty rough. We faced a lot of rejection, still adjusting to the place and people and then my dog passed away at home. While all of this was a lot to take in all at once (and it's still processing) I've felt moments where I know that God is very aware of me. From moments of peace while riding my bike to super nice dog owners on the street, I've felt God's love for me and in turn for everyone else here.

We're moving RIGHT along and growing so much! It is really a refining process, and one that I am so grateful for, even if it is difficult, thank you for the support❤ Love you all!
